Rates: A double room with private facilities (toilet and shower/bath) costs GBP 95 and with shared facilities, GBP 80. A single room with private facilities costs GBP 75 and with shared facilities, GBP 65 and a small single room with shared facilities, costs GBP 55. In addition we have a self contained studio flat comprising one very large room with its own kitchen, shower and toilet: GBP 100 for 1 person, GBP 125 for 2, GBP 145 for 3, GBP 160 for 4 or GBP 175 for 5. All these prices are for accommodation only. We do serve a full English breakfast at GBP 7, which is served from 8.00 am (9.00 at weekends) until late. We are very flexible: you can have breakfast here some times, all the time, or not at all and you can even invite your own guests to join you. We have a strict No Smoking policy in the house. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden and though some smoking guests are happy to do this, others do not feel comfortable with the rule. Booking Policy: From the moment we take a booking, we reserve the room/s for the period specified and for the guest who made that booking. That guest is then responsible for the whole of that booking, as we are responsible to them for providing the room/s as we said we would. If the guest subsequently cancels all or part of the booking, the guest remains responsible for the whole booking unless we can relet the room/s for the nights which have been cancelled. If we can relet the room/s for all or part of that period, we refund the guests money for the nights that we have been able to relet the room. In the case that we can relet for the whole period in question, we refund the guests money in full. We do not charge a cancellation fee. If you are cancelling a booking at short notice, do not use email because there might be a delay before we see it. To make a booking, we need credit card details from you (number, expiry date, name as it appears on card, last three digits of the security code, usually by the signature strip). We take this as security only and would like you to pay the bill with cash or sterling travellers cheques upon arrival; credit card payments incur a 5 percent surcharge. You can send us the credit card details by email, telephone or fax. If you phone your card details through and get the answering machine, it’s perfectly safe to leave them on the machine. No-one else listens to it. Checking-in / checking-out: In order that people do not feel rushed when they are leaving, our latest check?out time is 11 O clock. Rooms are ready for check-in after 3 pm. Guests arriving early after long intercontinental flights can secure a room for the time of their arrival for half the cost of the normal nightly rate. email us at: info@hampsteadguesthouse.com |
